Watch José González perform inside one of the Sydney Opera House’s sails

As part of a new series dubbed Nooks & Crannies by Sydney Opera House and Intel, blending their access to one of the most marvelous architectural feats in the world with good music, José González has performed a beautiful, intimate acoustic rendition of Vestiges and Claws single “Open Book” inside one of the icon’s actual sails.

Positioning himself inside the northernmost sail, shell A3, González offers a unique performance of the 2015 single, allowing the Sydney Opera House team to capture the moment live one February morning, right before he would go on to perform his second of two sold out concerts as part of his recent Australian tour. Watch the full video below and keep your eyes peeled for any future installations in this new series.
