When triple j took their annual regional, free, all ages, drug and alcohol free One Night Stand event to Dubbo earlier this year, they attracted over 18,000 punters, making it the largest One Night Stand ever. To celebrate the night, and ensure no one ever forgets their experience – whether they were watching/listening to it live or at the event itself – triple j has taken the best moments and released it on a DVD/CD set, which is out now!
The CD/DVD features live tracks from four of Australia’s finest acta, including electronic sensation Flume, four piece indie darlings The Rubens, Brisbane pop outfit Ball Park Music and triple j’s ever popular Aussie hip hopper Seth Sentry. The DVD also includes backstage artist interviews with triple j’s the Doctor.
In the past the One Night Stand has been to places like Alice Springs, Tumby Bay, Dalby and Sale with acts like Hilltop Hoods, Silverchair, 360, John Butler Trio, The Living End, Birds of Tokyo, Matt Corby, Pnau, Arts vs Science, Bluejuice, The Jezabels, Washington, Stonefield and heaps more.
