Track of the Day: Jackson Carroll “Happyman” (2019)

Now in the midst of a 16-date tour across Australia, Cronulla artist Jackson Carroll has gifted fans earthy, summer-ready jam with the aptly named “Happyman”, picking up the pace and drenching the glistening production in nothing but good vibes.

Rolling right onto better days (and weather), the almost tropical slice of folk-pop highlights Carroll’s charming style as he makes a conscious decision to be more optimistic. The song has been lifted from forthcoming EP Name It After Me which officially drops on Friday 22nd November.

The track is accompanied by a very localised video, shot at South Cronulla bowlo and directed by 17 year old Joel Bryant.
