Track of the Day: All The Colours “Tear It Down” (2019)

All The Colours are barking into the latter half of 2019 with the lo-fi grumble of “Tear It Down”. The Melbourne trio’s penchant for injecting moody, rich textures into classic garage alt-rock is as vital as ever on this new single, which features a hefty list of credits having been produced by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor, mixed by Cian Riordan (Mini Mansions, Beth Ditto), and mastered by Grammy-nominated mastermind Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, Vampire Weekend).

An ode to beginning new chapters, the track is a true showcase of what these music industry veterans are capable of, absolutely capitalising on the supergroup potential that has been buzzing ever since Josh Moriarty (Miami Horror), Jonathan Toogood (Young Dead Actors) and Josh Mann (Impossible Cinema) started this project.

Following singles “You Know, I Don’t” and “Let Me Drown”, “Tear It Down” prefaces the release of new album Vol. 3 and launches the band into a string of shows in Melbourne and Sydney, which you will most definitely want to be at given this track sounds like it’s going to be a beast live.
