Over the last few weeks, The New Colossus Festival in New York has announced a slew of new names set to play its showcase festival, hailing from all over the world. Some names, like A Place to Bury Strangers you’ll likely be familiar with, while others – hailing all the way from Brooklyn to Hamburg, Melbourne (like Wolfjay – pictured above), Paris and back again – are acts making their US debut at this event, and are names you’re unlikely to know. And that’s exactly what the festival is all about – discovery of the next big thing.
In addition to Wolfjay, Ali Barter and Shady Nasty are the other Australians set to play the event – joining Tia Gostelow from the first announcement (which you can read HERE).
Wolfjay has a few shows in Australia before they jet off – including a free show in Sydney as part of the Courtyard Sessions’ Mardi Gras program on Sunday 23rd February – and is currently raising funds for the opportunity to play the festival through this Pozible campaign.
