the AU interview: Lindsey Stirling (Arizona) talks tours, new album and life on the road

the AU review chats to American violinist, dancer, performance artist, and composer Lindsey Stirling about coming back to Australia to promote her album Shatter Me, “I’ve been touring non stop since releasing it” she says. Lindsey also offers her thoughts on the life of a musician “There’s so many other things that go along with being a musician than just doing the show, you have to keep up your craft, keep up your social media… You can’t ignore your fans around the world, it is quite a balance…”

She speaks fondly of life on the road: “I’ve gotten really good at the security lines… You see a lot of venues, a lot of hotels… we do try really hard to explore, whether it’s shopping, going to the beaches or holding a koala.” There’s plenty more in store from Lindsey Stirling, with a book and a new album underway.
