Single of the Day: Twin Ages “Outlaws” (2015)

Get some promising rock and roll tunes into your Monday with Twin Ages‘ new single, “Outlaws”. Due for official release this month, the track is brash, heavy and perfect for fans who vibe Kingswood, early Kings of Leon and some dirty bluesy rock coming outta Melbourne at the moment.

It’s a passionate release from the Melbourne band, who’ve been making a name for themselves as a solid live band through 2015 and no doubt, will be continuing to push that envelope through this year as well. Admitting that “Outlaws” didn’t take long at all to put together, Twin Ages describe the origins of the tune and what it means to them:

“The city we endeavoured to conquer and have lived in our entire lives began to love us back. This song is about obsession, and no matter how comfortable the pull of a normal reality may tug we will never let it go. So like a holstered pistol, we are drawing one of the filthiest blues rock songs about this messed up journey as a token of our love.”
