Single of the Day: These New South Whales “We Don’t Need You Anymore” (2017)

Ready for 1:41 minutes of thrashing punk? Turn to These New South Whales for that hit of goodness in the form of “We Don’t Need You Anymore”.

It’s going to be an exciting year of the band who are setting up of the release of their highly anticipated debut album and off the back of blistering shows and continued success online, TSNW are playing their cards extremely well. This new single is angsty and unbridled as ever, penned after bassist Will decided to quit the band.

Says vocalist Jamie Timony, “Will quit the band one day so the rest of us got together and wrote a song called “We Don’t Need You Anymore”. It sounded rubbish without bass though so we asked if he would come back and he did. We told him it’s a song about the government but it’s not. It’s about him.”

Ain’t that bittersweet. Check it out below!
