Single of the Day: Swim Season “Gold Cloak City” (2016)

Melbourne’s Swim Season have followed up on the solid impression they left on industry and local music fans in “Soldiers” with the release of their new single, “Gold Cloak City”! The band has continued down this path of matching catchy guitar hooks with an undeniably classic indie-pop chorus mentality that just hits perfectly playback after playback.

“Gold Cloak City”, another example of the band’s promise with the release of debut EP Cascades, also acts as a cool introductory tune for people coming to Swim Season for the first time and it’s a good time to get on board with this band. 2016 already has started showing itself to be a good one for the group, with a coveted spot at this year’s The Hills Are Alive Festival falling alongside a select few launch shows in their hometown this month – check em out!
