Single of the Day: Slum Sociable “Name Call” (2016)

Do yourself a favor and immerse yourself in the incredibly smooth, slinky sounds of Melbourne duo Slum Sociable. “Name Call” is the first cut from their highly-anticipated debut album due early 2017, and it’s drenched in soul and swagger punctuated with a reoccurring whistle that lingers in and out of jazzy guitars and a bluesy beat.

“Name Call” is a neatly produced example of Slum Sociable’s knack for writing elegant, yet super addictive tunes. You’ll be whistling that seductive chorus long after the first listen, but you won’t be arguing about it.

With this new single comes a bunch of new tour dates for November and December, marking the band’s first headline tour in nearly a year. Check out the new single and tour dates below!
