Brissy artists generally have a penchant for releasing music that just makes ya feel good. Even when it comes to the hardcore/punk rock scene, there’s a certain emotional punch that comes with the music that has had me leaving many a show feeling exhausted, but emotionally satisfied.
Which is why I’m here to introduce you (if you’ve not yet been) to Nice Biscuit. Already generating considerable hype out on the east coast, the six piece out of the Smart State have recently dropped a new single in “Captain” and we’ve been quick to mark this out as one of our favourites of the last few weeks of new releases.
The sound of “Captain” is sheer fun; crafted psych-pop with harmonic bliss threaded throughout, Nice Biscuit match unbeatable bass riffs with guitar work that is nothing short of catchy and impressive.
