Single of the Day: Howlite “Saviour” (2017)

Melbourne’s Howlite have returned with a new cracker of a single in “Saviour”, a great follow on from “Gothic Romance” some months ago. Continuing along this gorgeously brooding and haunting path, “Saviour” is a brilliant vessel for showcasing Alison Thom‘s vocals when put against a more stripped back arrangement. There’s a raw essence behind the southern blues influence the band explored on “Saviour”, enticing the listener in and hooking them for the duration.
