Rian and Alex from All Time Low (Maryland) talk about album number seven, Last Young Renegade, touring Australia & covering Cher

In this five part interview series, Rian Dawson and Alex Gaskarth from US rockers All Time Low sit down with the AU review’s Larry Heath to talk about their biggest Australian tour ever – and Alex announces that he’s ready for a name change. Yep, he’s doing a Prince thing.

In part two, we talk about how they continue to grow a new generation of fans with every album (and keep their old ones too, of course) – and we talk about working with record label Fueled By Ramen for the first time, for album number 7, Last Young Renegade.

We go on to talk about recording the album in secret, covering artists like Cher at their shows, and we talk in more detail about their collaborations.

The band then talk about the trilogy of music videos that have helped launch the album, and we find out who plays Tegan and who plays Sara during their live shows – Tegan and Sara of course are special guests on their new record.

And finally we ask them the all important question: who are some of your favourite Australian bands? Of course, 5 Seconds of Summer makes an appearance on their list. But who else does? Finish up our interview series here:

All Time Low’s new album Last Young Renegade is in stores on Friday, 2nd June 2017 through Warner Music Australia
