Paul McCartney and Metallica headline Lollapalooza 2015; Tame Impala lead the massive Australian charge.

With SXSW at an end, the music world is looking ahead to the rest of the major festivals to take over America this year. Following the announcement of Outside Lands in San Francisco earlier this week (see that lineup HERE), it’s now Lollapalooza’s turn – the iconic Chicago festival set to take place from July 31st until August 2nd. This year, Beatles legend Paul McCartney will join Metallica and Florence + the Machine as headliners for the festival – which at the time of publishing has already sold out of single and 3-Day passes (some VIP and Travel Packages are still left, however).

Leading the Australian charge are Perth boys Tame Impala, who will also be joined by Chet Faker as he continues his world domination, Sheppard who are doing the same, Alison Wonderland, DMA’s, Peking Duk and even Spookyland! What So Not, Hermitude and Angus and Julia Stone will also make the bill, fresh from their SXSW performances. This is an absolutely massive list of some of our country’s best talent. New Zealand’s Broods will also be along for the ride. See the full lineup below.
