2024 is well and truly underway. The Laneway Festivals have kicked off, and there are a number of outstanding international visitors ready to hit our shores in February and March. We’ve picked a few of our favourites.
After last touring Australia in 2017 legendary US alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr return to Australia celebrating 30 years of their classic album Where You Been with their original lineup J.Masics (guitar vocals), Lou Barlow (bass vocals) and drummer Murph. The group disbanded in 1997 with the original lineup reforming in 2005, releasing five albums. Mascis’s distinct vocals and distorted guitar sound influenced the alternative rock movement of the 1990s.

UK genre-bending group Black Country, New Road are making their Australian debut after a full year touring the globe in 2023. British modern glam rock band The Struts are heading back Down Under to support Slash, and while they’re here they’re playing two exclusive headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney!
Though heavily inspired by classic 80s glam rock, they bring a refreshing and unique sound to todays music. Performing a mixture of their classics as well as tracks from their 2023 album Pretty Vicious, The Struts put on one hell of a show that you absolutely won’t want to miss out on.
