Newcastle’s Jake Houlsby shares second track taken from forthcoming Vondelpark EP, due May 5th

With a sound filled with Fleet Foxes-esque vocals and cathartic, spirited instrumentals, it’s hard not to feel the warmth in Jake Houlsby‘s new single, “Oklahoma”. It comes as the second cut from his sophomore Vondelpark EP which is released May 5th via Tipping Point Records.

Following lead EP single “Howl”, “Oklahoma” was inspired by the charm of the American South and the odd nostalgia of images of Oklahoma. This familiar nostalgia shine through on the track, and holds a very transportive nature, taking the listener to an easier place.
