New free music series ‘Southern Sounds’ kicks off in Melbourne this Thursday

Inspired by the spirit of New Orleans, the new live music series helmed by Southern Comfort – ‘Southern Sounds’ – is kicking off this Thursday in Melbourne, with Remi taking the reins at the Northcote Social Club for an unmissable free event.

The series heads to Sydney and Brisbane as well this month, with each curated event being pulled together with some serious party vibes in mind. While Remi’s Northcote Social Club event (supported by LOSSLESS, HTMLflowers, Oscar Key Sung and DJ Snezzo Snot) provides a fiery start to the Southern Sounds series, Melbourne will then host Oscar Key Sung, Silentjay and Mira Boru at The Night Cat on January 18th.

Moving on to Sydney, the Botany View Hotel will play host to Palms, Bloods and Shag on January 26th, while the Southern Sounds series finishes up at The Foundry in Brisbane with Joyride, Tiana Khasi and FlexMami on February 1st.

Get into each venue early, as each gig is running on a first come, first served basis!
