Music Video of the Day: The Creases “Impact” (2016)

The Creases, man. With today’s announcement that they’ll be on the road with Ball Park Music later on this year, not to mention their own single launch tour this July, we’re keen to simply know there’ll be ample opportunities to get our dose of Brisbane goodness.

Most recently, The Creases have released the official music video for popular new single “Impact” and marks the band’s first time solely being in front of the camera, as opposed to making it themselves. It’s fun, it’s catchy and mirrors the nature of the song perfectly – a brilliantly shot clip by Sophie Hayward.

“We wanted a very set and character based clip,” the band has said of their new clip. “Citing some of our favourite videos from bands like Blur and The Dandy Warhols, and she organised all these amazing and interesting people to be involved, and built and decorated the set rooms herself by hand. It was really amazing. This is the first video we haven’t actually made ourselves as well so it was a very strange and exciting experience to just simply turn up and be in it.”

Catch The Creases on the east coast next month launching “Impact” – not to be missed!
