Darwin based hip hop artist Requiem has teamed up with the stunning Kathryn Rollins out of Melbourne for the hypnotic and catchy “Treading Water” – today delivering the official music video to accompany.
A reflection on anxiety and control, the song is built on some simmering and broody beats, while Rollins’ vocals float throughout almost like smoke. A strong release from Requiem, who began generating solid momentum off the back of his Louvres LP, drawing acclaim for his personable style and lyricism.
With Cam Bluff on production for “Treading Water” too, the single is simply made stronger as a result.
