Music Video of the Day: Parquet Courts “Dust” (2016)

Some brand new Parquet Courts visuals  are here! The band recently released their official music video for “Dust”, taken from their new album Human Performance, a record that stands to feature possibly some of their most open and emotional material yet.

“Dust”, on the surface, is a pretty clear cut tune – dust is indeed everywhere and it’s matter that we’re breathing in, it’s inescapable. But, using these visuals of the main character performing the same monotonous tasks over and over against the droning guitar progressions and a vocal range that doesn’t really extend too fair, “Dust” is a look at the anxieties that can envelop anybody and offers a pretty bleak view on the outcome. We can’t escape it.
