Music Video of the Day: Neon Tetra “Run From The Ruins” (2017)

Adelaide’s Neon Tetra have been racking up the good nods recently, spending this year focused on getting singles out and man, they’ve been well-received. “Telescopes” and “Reflections” have brought the group to a larger audience, blending rock grooves with excellent pop melody, landing Neon Tetra on the radars of triple j Unearthed, and on the stage alongside the likes of Ecca Vandal and The Belligerents.

As we gear up for the end of 2017, the band has shown that they’re definitely not done, releasing the music video for “Run From the Ruins” along with tour dates along the east coast, as well as in their home town through into January.

Directed by Mickey Mason of Corduroy Productions, the “Run From the Ruins” music video is a great little lo-fi romp, paying homage to the classic sci fi film Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women. Check it out below!
