Music Video of the Day: I AM D “Seven Deuce” (2016)

Meet I AM D. The Brisbane rapper has come up through the ranks in the last few years, earning his stripes as a lyricist and live performer supporting the likes of Thundamentals, Ghostface Killah, Drapht, Briggs and more. One of the newer names Golden Era are boasting, I AM D has well proven the calibre of company he and his music has found themselves in and with new single “Seven Deuce”, here’s an opportunity for everyone else to catch on as well.

Taken from his new EP M.N.T.N.S (Mirrors Never Told Nice Stories), the rhymes and beat goes hard. Production is slick, thanks to James Angus aka Uncle Juice, while the official film clip sees Kevin Bar take to the director’s helm. A cool insight into another individual committed to fuelling that fire the new wave of Australian hip hop that is currently burning.
