Music Video of the Day: Hudson Mohawke ft. Antony “Indian Steps” (2015)

Now this is an interesting collaboration we’re intrigued to see develop further. Hudson Mohawke has revealed a new tune in “Indian Steps”, collaborated upon with Antony, featured on his latest album Lantern. Of course, Antony has remained at the forefront of an alternative, gorgeous and experimental music scene and in linking up with HudMo on this new track, we’re seeing yet another facet of the artist’s talent.

The music video, directed by Daniel Sannwald, draws inspiration from Rodin‘s The Kiss and has been explained as such: ‘For the video, I recreate that sculpture with two elderly bodies. It was very touching and moving to see two ageing bodies in such an intimate way. I wanted to use them as a symbol of time, but also to capture the beauty of such vulnerability.”
