Music Video of the Day: Hansaa & soso “Nights” (2018)

Back in August last year, we introduced you to producer and musician Hansaa (aka Vinay Matta) with his song “Need To Know” – a great cut from an emerging name on the rise. Now, we’re seeing that Hansaa is continuing this good run with his latest release, a collaboration with soso, in “Nights”.

Bringing in vocalist Emma Sameth for this project, “Nights” is a great follow on from the sounds first heard on “Need To Know”. Showcasing Hansaa’s great approach to electro pop music, “Nights” is dark, intricate and atmospheric. Get lost in the melody and this new music video for “Nights”, below. Directed by Julien Pircher, the music video makes this urban landscape one to get immersed in.

“It’s desire for the unknown.” Pircher has said. “A pretty, simple and a straight-forward pain. Wanting something that is unreachable and impossible to forget is a sheer torment. The music video for the song “Nights” is a mental journey through a young man’s world of feelings after meeting a woman that he will probably never see again in his life.  While giving the viewer several visual hints, the video confronts the audience with a challenge to find pictorial metaphors and to connect them with the plot in order to open up the storyline and to give the music video the full sense and drama.”
