Music Video of the Day: Hamjam “Sippin Rosé All Alone” (2017)

Perth duo Hamjam celebrated the release of their album a/s/l? on Friday and what better way to mark it than with a brand new music video too?

The fact that both Hamish Rahn and James Ireland have been able to fit in the time to write and record an album of their own while also touring with Methyl Ethel and Pond, is impressive in itself and we sure are glad to see them back, creating new music together. Self-described as ‘blissed out sadness’, the music Hamjam have generated walks a line of psych and electronic production, with enough eccentricity in the arrangement for them to stand out on their own from other bands mixing in the same pot of influence.

“Sippin’ Rosé All Alone” is a great new track from Hamjam to come out with – set to be a signature cut of the wider album, it is soaked in unique soul and is cleverly put together. Check the music video out below, directed by Katie Campbell, while the filming and editing has been taken care of by the talented Laura Apelt.

Keep an eye out for Hamjam and stay update here!
