Music Video of the Day: Cameron Avery “Ces’t Toi” (2016)

The now LA-based Perth native Cameron Avery has a new music video doing the rounds, this time for the dreamy, yet charged up single “Ces’t Toi”. Directed by Mike Bennett and Nathan Lewis (the Joy Collective), we see Avery perform the tune, written about ‘the last time he fell in love’. Recorded with Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Elvis Costello), Avery’s vocals are a highlight on “Ces’t Toi” – rich and nostalgic, he draws you in and makes the environment of the single very much about the lyricism and its delivery.

Check it out below – expecting 2017 to be a big one for Avery, who has been busy supporting the likes of The Last Shadow Puppets and Father John Misty, all the while working on new music under his own name. Dreamboat.
