Music Video of the Day: Bonobo ft. Nick Murphy “No Reason” (2017)

Bonobo released album number six in Migration last year and, eagerly, we put our mitts all over it and have been sinking into those lush sounds all week. Today, he has shared the official music video for recent single “No Reason”, which features Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker).

Inspired by Birdman and Alice In Wonderland, the music video is trippy, playing on the idea of an individual growing (and outgrowing) in their surroundings over time. Directed by Oscar Hudson, the music video featured no post-work or VFX. He says of the end result: “…This felt like such a fascinating intersection of physical and psychological spaces and so from this I set out to make a film that through an inventive physical concept, tried to link environment directly to psychology.”
