Music Video of the Day: Blondebears “Crystalline” (2017)

Jake Stiles and Sebastian Morales are South Sydney’s Blondebears, an electronic group who came together after unsuccessfully trying to sneak into a music festival as young boys. The duo has become a mainstay in the Sydney live music scene, and have been celebrated by Triple J Unearthed and Rolling Stone. They’ve achieved huge success with previous tracks “Dissolve” and “Sedative”, and their back with new single “Crystalline”.

The cinematic music video is bizarre as it is beautiful, sweeping shots of sand dunes interrupted by the duo tumbling down like kids. The song itself matches the trippy video, smooth vocals fade are layered to elicit the feeling of falling down the rabbit hole. Watch the dreamy video below.
