Jens Lekman announces fourth studio album in Life Will See You Now

As Australia swiftly enters a new week of scorching heat wave temperatures, Swedish singer/songwriter Jens Lekman drops an icy-cold, tropical-based spritzer in the form of his new single, “What’s That Perfume That You Wear?”. The track also comes with the announcement of Lekman’s fourth studio album Life Will See You Now, due out February 17 via Secretly Canadian and Inertia Music.

Over the course of his music career, Lekman has refined his brand of pop music that makes sad songs seem happy and happy songs seem sad- an effective and unconventional style that works in the muso’s favour. The new single is an up-beat dance number that balances both Lekman’s airy vocal with a percussion heavy beat, sampling “The Path” of 1978 by Ralph MacDonald.
