We’re going to be at this party – it’s surely going to be epic. We love Ivy League – and who doesn’t love Cloud Control (pictured above, photo by Nik Thorup) – let alone the rest of the amazing lineup? And you can be there too! Just make sure you line up early. Here are the details:

The sun is out, spring is just around the corner and in celebration, Ivy League Records are excited to announce their very own Spring Break party on September 17th at GoodGod Small Club!

Like any self respecting undergraduates, Ivy League’s newest signings have been working out all winter, getting a sweet pump on to best demonstrate their athleticism and aesthetic perfection to gawking admirers. In scenes that will in no way echo Radioheads incredibly uncomfortable poolside performance of “Creep” to a crowd of perplexed college kids in the early nineties, this party will be the perfect excuse to get down and wild with some of our new favourite bands as they come to you, live and exclusive for one night only!

The line up will consist of Ivy League’s fantastically exciting newest club members, Alpine, along with Cloud Control, Cabins, Catcall and Wons Phreely.

These fresh young things are all featured on a brand new Ivy League sampler showcasing their most up-to-date sonic achievements, all of which demonstrate why this line up is sweeter than a tequila shot poured down your neck immediately upon arrival in Cabo, or Burleigh Heads. This limited edition piece of plastic will only be available at Spring Break 2010 for the princely sum of nothing.

Tickets are a severely generous $20 for the full evening’s events and only available at the door, so get in early as this event is sure to sell out!  Doors open @ 8pm.
