Halcyon Drive hitting the road this June and July with new track “Books For The Holidays”

“The song is about being frustrated with the state of loneliness. Part longing over unrequited feelings, part despair, part wonderment at the beauty that surrounds us everyday…”

We’ve all been there at least once. It’s the sentiment Halcyon Drive have focused their new single “Books For The Holidays” on and next month, the band will be bringing their new tune to a venue near you (if you live on the east coast, that is)!

The Melbourne indie-pop group have been working on their new music for a little while now, with “Books For The Holidays” in particular seeing the trio link up with Steven Schram and Steve Smart at Studios 301. The latest single is the third to be taken from the forthcoming Halcyon Drive EP Untethered and by all counts, indicates toward an exciting release!
