Ahead of the first show at Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge, Eliott has put together this exclusive playlist of her favourite female artists to get us all in the mood!

“Burn” – Kacey Musgraves

“I’m a big Kacey fan, what a lady! I saw her in Brisbane between shows while I was on tour. Her lyrics are so relatable and clever and heartbreaking and honest all at once. My friend and producer Jack Grace also does a beautiful version of this one. “

“Bad Habit” – Your Smith

“This song has such a cool vibe and I’m in love with the keys riff. This was on repeat for a looooong time.”

“Comfort” – Julia Jacklin

“Julia is just one of my all time favourite writers. The vocal delivery on this is so perfect, the most beautiful mix of gentle and strong.”

“Have Fun At Your Party” – Graace

“I love Graace! She’s a good friend of mine, and man this song gets me every time.”

“OG Love Kush Pt. 1” – Kaiit

“Such an effortlessly groovy track. I can’t help but feel good when I’m listening to Kaiit! Her band is incredibleeee too.”

‘You’ve Got a Friend’ – Carole King

“This song reminds me of my grandma ❤️”

“Both Sides Now” – Joni Mitchell

“I’ve been singing this at my shows and it’s just so beautifully written, the way it comes back on itself and grows a little with every verse. I can’t help but get emotional when I sing it.”

“Angela” – Missy Higgins

“Missy is so nostalgic for me. I grew up listening to her, and have a really vivid memory of first learning to harmonise to this song with my mum on roadtrips when I was young.”

“Breakaway” – Lennon Stella

“I love how everything cuts out in the chorus and it’s just drums and her beaut vocals.”

“Mosquito” – Stella Donnelly

“Stella is such an inspiration. Her stage presence is amazing – the way she tells a story and can captivate a room is so special.”
