Exclusive Premiere: Billy Davis and The Good Lords are “Golden” on PBS Radio’s Studio 5 Live Series

Our friends at PBS 106.7 FM are holding their annual Radio Festival right now, driving subscriptions to one of Melbourne – and Australia’s – finest community radio stations. Entirely non-for-profit, PBS relies on subscribers to champion local and underrepresented music across Melbourne and Australia and so they’re festival drive is one of the most important times of the year for the station. Themed around its cosmic quest to stay on the airwaves, this year’s tagline is One Small Step.

As part of the festival, Melbourne outfit Billy Davis and the Good Lords recorded a live track at the station, which we’re premiering exclusively on behalf of PBS today. The track “Golden” is a part of the PBS Studio 5 Live series, a selection of which will be provided to all subscribers. The band are well known for their live shows, with the ensemble made up of some of the city’s finest live performers.

Don’t miss Billy Davis as part of the incredible lineup taking part in Bad Opera at Howler in Melbourne on June 11th. Tickets and more details available HERE.
