Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Round Mountain Girls “Something Wrong” (2017)

As they approach the 10 year mark, NSW’s Round Mountain Girls have steadily become one of Australia’s most beloved alt-country acts; always on the road and always pushing their craft, the group of musicians have been locking down spots on festivals everywhere for years now, and aren’t looking to slow down any time soon.

They’ve just released their fourth album in Meet You At The End and will soon be on the road in Australia and Europe but today, we’ve got the latest update from the Round Mountain Girls camp in a brand new music video for their kicking tune, “Something Wrong”.

The video sees the band performing the tune – a contemplative and darker song in tone and theme – letting the narrative of the tune take the spotlight.

The song is about navigating your way through dark times and as Round Mountain Girls opine, there is definitely a way through it. As vocalist and guitarist Chris mentions, “Something Wrong” is ‘a slow, dark track about a relationship falling apart. …Everything is falling apart but everything is in time, rolling on. Time constantly moving forward with no control.”
