Emma Louise on the recording of new album, Supercry (Part Two)

It’s album release day for Emma Louise, who celebrates the unveiling of her much-anticipated sophomore record Supercry today!

Traction has been gaining more and more for the songwriter, who has been impressing with recent singles and the recent announcement of a huge national tour further establishing Emma Louise as an artist to be watching as the rest of this year pans out.

While catching up with Larry recently, she opens up about recording the album in Europe with acclaimed producer, Pascal Gabriel.

“It was amazing, Pascal was exactly what my music needed.” she says. “We clicked straight away and I ended up working with him in the south of France in this castle. …The studio was a pretty ‘classic’ studio, it was really amazing. He just made me feel comfortable in what I was making and encouraged me to express myself. I didn’t have any hang ups, really. It was pretty free.”

“I hope that people relate to it in some way and maybe feel a little less alone in some of their feelings. That they like it, would be really good! If they liked it, I’d feel really good.”
