The authentic 90s hip hop sound is at its most powerful when De La Soul are on the mic.
Ever since their classic debut, 3 Feet High and Rising, three eccentric jazz rap purveyors have been a guiding force in discussions on what’s real and what isn’t in the world of hip hop.
De La Soul most definitely represent the real here, and their latest release, Cabin in the Sky, serves as a sharp reminder of that. With a full live band in tow, they’ll be coming to give Australia a hit of the new sound, as well as selections of the trio’s extensive discography.
Presented by Astral People, the Droppin’ Science tour will prove how fearlessly creative these New Yorkers still are after all these years. It’s a rare chance to see the group’s kaleidoscopic universe unfold on stage, bigger, brighter and more soulful than ever.
De La Soul will touch down in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane before wrapping the Down Under segment of this tour at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre. Check out the full dates below and don’t forget to pick up some tickets; hip hop tours are few and far between at the start of 2026, so this is a rare opportunity for fans of 90s rap to really let loose and reminisce.
