Conor Oberst confirms exclusive Sydney Opera House show for February

Conor Oberst has locked in one incredible show for early 2017 and surprise, it’s coming to Sydney. February 27th will have Oberst take to the stage in the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall with what has become a beloved and revered discography taking in solo and group work with Bright Eyes and more.

Says the Opera House’s Head of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall, of Oberst’s exclusive date with Australian fans: “After 23 years of public performance, Conor Oberst’s fierce, raw, risk-taking intensity finally comes to the Opera House. Conor is an artist of substance and integrity who is clearly compelled to make his art; his impact on independent folk and rock music in immense.”

Tickets for this special date are on sale from 9am, December 9th via the Sydney Opera House website, going for $69 plus booking fees.
