Commedia Dell Southbound reveals 2016 program!

Soutbound is set to turn the hell up next year, with new additions to the WA festival being rolled out even now, mere weeks out from it kicking off in 2016. Southbound 2016 is going to be accommodating their punters like no other year, with the addition of the already-announced Big Top set to provide a much needed shelter from the most likely soaring temperatures but today, the full program for the Commedia Dell Southbound has been revealed!

JumpClimb has come together with the likes of Midlandia, Noodle Palace and the Beaufort Street Festival to curate the festival space in conjunction with Tomas Ford and will be delivering some fantastic food, drinks and entertainment options running right alongside the main festival. Comedy will be the name of the game, with the likes of Dr Professor Neal Portenza, Davee Warneke and Mike G getting onboard to bring the LOLs.

If you’re after something a little more risqué, Sugar Blue Burlesque will be strutting their stuff as part of the Commedia program; led by Ruby Slippers (pictured), the troupe will be brining their attention-grabbing acts through to close out Friday and Saturday night of the program. Perth’s most exciting drag acts are also going to be in on the fun, with Attack of the Drag Queens hosting a entertaining run of Bingay! – yep, bingo, with balls.

There is so much more involved on next year’s program – head on over to Southbound Festival to find out who you can be catching down at the event, running in 2016 from January 8th-11th!
