BIGSOUND reveals first keynote speaker announcement for 2016 event

BIGSOUND may be some months down the line yet, but the Brisbane music conference and  festival are already doling out some enticing details surrounding the event’s 15th anniversary. First up, the first official keynote speaker and buyer announcement. A diverse, well-respected list of music industry players have been confirmed for BIGSOUND this year, travelling to the Valley to see over 150 musicians do their thing throughout the event.

Included in today’s announcement are the likes of Jaddan Comerford (UNIFIED), Briggs and Trials (A.B. ORIGINAL) in conversation with Lindsay McDougall, music segment producer for ConanJim PittTaylor Testa (Universal Publishing Group), Jeremy Maciak (Vagrant Records/BMG) and many, many more.

In other BIGSOUND news, artist applications have been extended for two more weeks, until May 22nd. Tickets are also on sale now, with early bird tickets running dangerously close to selling out. Head on over to to find out how to get involved!
