After a sold-out debut visit this month, Audrey Hobert has announced she’ll return to Australia in 2026 for a run of headline shows, immediately upgrading to larger rooms across the country.
The US singer-songwriter will kick off her The Staircase to Stardom Tour in Sydney on 12 May, before playing Brisbane and Melbourne. These will be her biggest Australian dates yet.
Hobert is in the country this week for her club show debut at Sydney’s Lansdowne and Melbourne’s Toff, which both sold out immediately from a much-needed ballot system. The early demand has prompted a fast-tracked return, and her upgrade to venues like Enmore Theatre and Forum Melbourne confirms there’s an audience appetite to match.
If the name sounds familiar, you might’ve spotted it on Gracie Abrams’ recent album The Secret Of Us, which Audrey co-wrote. But it’s her debut solo record, Who’s The Clown?, that’s shot her into the spotlight.
Only released in August, the album blends TikTok generation dry humour, everyday heartbreak and is spiked with self-awareness throughout. NPR dubbed Hobert “pop music’s funniest newcomer,” while Ones to Watch said she’s “invented a new brand of Poptimism.” She’s since taken the record on a sold-out run across the US, UK and Europe.
And if you’re clocking the family resemblance, Audrey’s brother Malcolm Todd is also on the rise. He was just announced as part of the Laneway Festival 2026 lineup, meaning both siblings will be touring Australia over the summer.
Frontier Members can access the presale from Friday 3 October at 12pm local time, with general public tickets on sale from Tuesday 7 October at 12pm local time. All ticket details can be found HERE.
