Applications for SXSW Music now open through until October

Time is here once more, folks. The gates for SXSW Music submissions are now open for another year, with the American music festival and conference inviting musicians from all over the world to enter theirs to be in with a chance of being Austin, Texas-bound next March.

Since 1987, SXSW has been providing a large and extensive playground for musicians to showcase their music to an audience of industry and the general public alike but in recent years, SXSW Music has truly become a beast of its own, with corporate sponsorship bringing some of music’s biggest names through to Austin for unmissable shows. Then of course, there’s all the secret pop ups that happen throughout as well or the day-of-show announcements that have hundreds staking out spots in front of a venue to see the likes of Kanye West and Jay Z play a free show.

If you want to be in with a chance to get to SXSW, apply through here by October 20th. An early bird rate is currently in place so the earlier you get in, the cheaper it will be.
