Alex Lahey scores international deal with Dead Oceans

Get em, Lahey. Because 2016 wasn’t big enough for the Melbourne songwriter, Alex has gone and upped things another level as we enter the second month of the New Year by announcing a major international deal with Dead Oceans. For all territories outside Australia, the label (part of Secretly Group) has positioned Lahey on an artist roster alongside the likes of Julianna BarwickBleachedA Place to Bury Strangers and The Tallest Man on Earth.

“To see my name on  the list of artists that works with Dead Oceans and the Secretly Group is nothing less than a dream come true.” Lahey has said. “I am so excited to be working with a label who truly believes in their artists and have a vision that wholeheartedly demonstrates their genuine passion for music.”

Already, she’s preparing to go out on tour through the US and the UK so no doubt, this is another chink in what’s become a strong chain of successes since her debut EP, B-Grade University, was released.

And, because she’s just a champion, Alex has treated us with new video, this time for “Wes Anderson”. Suss it below!
