80s icons Transvision Vamp announce Australian tour February 2026

Iconic British rock band Transvision Vamp is back and ready to electrify Australian audiences with a highly anticipated Australian Tour, marking their first major return in decades. Known for their rebellious spirit, chart-topping hits, and dynamic frontwoman Wendy James they will ignite with their signature raw energy and glam-punk edge across venues around Australia.

Best known for smash hits like “Baby I Don’t Care”, “I Want Your Love”, and “Revolution Baby”, Transvision Vamp stormed onto the global scene in the late 1980s and quickly became icons of the punky, pop-glam era. Fans will get a rare chance to experience the band’s high-octane performances live and louder than ever.

Joining Wendy James on tour is Alex Ward (The Thurston Moore Group) on Guitar, Dave Parsons (Transvision Vamp) on Bass, and James Sclavunos (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds) on Drums.

Wendy says ”I am so excited to be coming back to Australia to play the songs which started my whole musical journey! I remember vividly so many moments across Australia, moments of enormous success, enormous love and enormous fun. I’m bringing with me a set full of music that will thrill and musicians who will amaze!”
