Barry’s Bootcamp and Chin Chin link up for the ultimate fitness feast in Sydney

Barry's Bootcamp Surry Hills

Fancy your HIIT with a side of scrummy Thai food? I’m not talking overly-sauced takeaway pad see ew after you’ve just flurried your way through sprints and burpees either. The team behind global fitness favourite Barry’s Bootcamp has teamed up with pink-hued contemporary Thai restaurant Chin Chin for just that. HIIT with a side of Thai.

The one-day-only collaboration will take place in Sydney on Saturday 20th March, with ticketholders attempting to worship both the fitness and feast gods by attending one of Barry’s sweaty Red Room workouts and backing that up with a bespoke “Feed Me Menu” at nearby Chin Chin.

For those who haven’t tucked into Chin Chin’s popular “Feed Me Menu” before, expect dishes like kingfish sashimi with lime, chilli, coconut and Thai basil; corn fritters with lettuce cups and chilli jam; and slow cooked pulled pork pancakes with slaw and hoisin honey sauce.

Doesn’t sound like much does it? That’s ‘cos above is only the first course. Follow that up with plates of pad seuw braised wagyu beef with gai laan, rice noodles and shallots; stir fry green beans with coconut and cashew sambal; and a specially made Barry’s salad of Asian chicken coleslaw with sesame rice crackers and nuoc cham.

End the dinner with a Vietnamese iced coffee panna cotta with cashew praline. It’ll be well earned by that point.

You’ve got two options for a class at the Barry’s Bootcamp Surry Hills studio (66-72 Reservoir Street), either 2:55pm or 3:55pm. Dinner at Chin Chin will follow at 5:30pm.

Tickets are $110 per person and spaces are limited.
