Xbox is opening a pop up gaming hotel in Sydney because, sure, why not

Xbox Australia and Eventbrite are opening a pop up gaming hotel in Sydney that will allow guests a chance to go hands on with the new Xbox One X console ahead of launch. Feel like a sleep over?

Called Xbox Stay N’ Play, Xbox Aus are calling the project “a boutique, gaming-themed sleepover experience.” I’m calling it a countdown to someone trying to get laid in an Xbox Onesie.

Xbox Stay N’ Play will be stationed in front of Pirrama Park in Pyrmont. The pop up will be operating from Friday November 3 to Sunday November 5th and will feature four different themed suites built around some of Xbox’s biggest holiday titles like Forza 7 and Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Xbox are expecting a lot of interest in the sleepovers and so bookings through the Eventbrite page are currently essential. Once you check in with your gamertag, you’ll get a private suite for you and a friend, 4K HDR TV’s to make the most of your time with the Xbox One X, Dolby Atmos-ready headsets and a full suite of Xbox One X Enhanced games to sample available via concierge, because if we’re going to be bourgie about this let’s not muck around.

If you’re not keen on staying over, that’s fine, you can also book a 2 hour daytime session so you don’t miss out, or you can just hang out in the lobby until it closes for the sleepovers until 8am.

Get cracking, bookings are open now.
