Twitch just launched servers in Sydney, streams to improve immensely for Aussie users

Livestreaming juggernaut Twitch have reportedly launched new servers in Sydney today, according to a tweet from famed Australian StarCraft II player and shoutcaster Maynarde.

Maynarde tweeted just a short time ago that the servers had gone live and that his experience was now “beautiful.” This should come as exceedingly welcome news to Australian viewers, many of whom often struggle to watch a feed in a higher resolutions without suffering significant lag spikes.

We’ve reached out to Twitch for comment on this story and will update in the event that they respond.
