Tokyo Game Show 2015: Project Morpheus is now officially PlayStation VR

Project Morpheus, Sony’s proprietary virtual reality headset, has been rechristened. The hardware’s new title, PlayStation VR, was announced by SCEJ&A president Atsushi Morita during Sony’s pre-TGS presser tonight.

Morita also took time to show off a number of games and demos that fans and media will be able to get their hands on during the show this week like Summer Lesson, Dynasty Warriors 7, Rigs, Final Fantasy 14 Online and the Hatsune Miku VR tech demo.

Sony announced earlier in the year that the headset would see release in the first half of 2016.
