The latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight shows Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin gameplay

Rocksteady have dropped the latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight and it debuts the feature many have been waiting for since the series inception – other playable members of the Bat family outside of the challenge rooms. Arkham Knightwill feature Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin as playable characters through an on-the-fly character switching mechanic. Hit the jump to check it out.

Rocksteady says its called “dual play” and although the trailer really only gives us footage from scripted events and cutscenes and not any actual gameplay, the trailer suggests the mechanic can be used to pull off some pretty gonzo tag-team moves. Dual Play appears, at least on the surface, to be borrowing pretty heavily from a similar mechanic found inGrand Theft Auto V.

Batman: Arkham Knight launches June 23 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
