The Game Expo is heading to Melbourne in 2023

Melbourne will be home to yet another gaming event in 2023, with The Game Expo, taking place in 2023. From 11-12 March 2023, The Game Expo is described as being about ‘everyone who loves games’ and will be dedicated to community, competition and creativity.

Taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, also known as the home of PAX AUS, gamers can dive into various events from esports tournaments and tabletop and card gaming, to console free play and PC LAN tournaments, where you can even bring your own PC. The event will also feature four colour coded event zones, so that those interested in each may do so with ease.

Red – Tournaments

Esports, Console and PC Live tournaments, and stage events with prizes.

Yellow – Expo Hall

Explore new games and tech at exhibitor booths, try demos, and complete event quests.

Blue – Creative

Meet your favourite streamers and content creators, witness amazing cosplay and live performances, and discover the talent of fantastic artists.

Green – Free play

There’s fun free play all over the show, with special zones for console and PC play as well as a dedicated tabletop gaming zone where you can learn to play from the free library of board and card games, join tournaments, and more.

The fun will continue, with various announcement regarding guests and tournaments to be made closer to the event. Tickets are on sale now at www.thegameexpo.com.
