Own an Xbox One? The Witcher 2 is free until February 5

Proving yet again that they are among the most generous people in AAA games today, CD Projekt Red have made their RPG classic The Witcher 2 available for free to Xbox One owners via backwards compatibility.

This is a separate deal from Xbox’s usual month-long Games with Gold promotion and so the dates are a little different. Log in to the Xbox Store from your console before February 5 and you can grab one of the greatest RPGs ever made for the low, low price of zero dollars. The game will be without a price tag from January 21 to February 5.

If deals get any better than that, I’ve never heard about it. Cheers, CD Projekt. We love you, but you already knew that.
